Recalibrations
Most safety systems are controlled by a forward facing camera. In most instances, the bracket that holds the camera in place is on your windshield. When a windshield is replaced, the camera is removed. Once reinstalled, the camera must be recalibrated to ensure all safety systems are functioning properly. Some safety systems include but are not limited to lane departure warning system, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control, etc.
